We hear from Louis Lawrence that The Ventnor Enhancement Fund currently hold a licence for entertainment in Ventnor Park.
Some of you may’ve been along to the Sunday afternoon sessions last year or the all dayer Jazz charity fundraiser.
Well, in preparation for the forthcoming summer season, the VEF are inviting any Island bands to play at the bandstand in the park throughout the summer season. Slots on Sunday afternoons are available from the May Bank Holiday through to the Autumn.
They will not charge you for playing, but if you want to collect money from the audience you are welcome to (although you’ll need to sort this yourself).
