This Easter holiday Starling Songwriters have free opportunities for children and young people at their songwriting workshops.
There are 80 places available for students aged between 10 and 16-year-old who receive free school meals to take part in the songwriting workshop.
Maria Woodford from Starling Songwriters told News OnTheWight,
“Every workshop includes opportunities for the kids to try instruments, collaborate to create a brand new song and record that song in the hope we can produce it ready for local radio play with Vectis Radio!
“All of the songs produced in workshops over the last year can be found on our Website.”
Songwriting and a hot meal
Over the Easter break the workshop (10am-3pm) also includes a nutritious hot meal. Students can attend more than one workshop if they wish.
