Freshwater Parish Council approves new play equipment for Stroud Recreation Ground

Freshwater Parish Council is thrilled to announce that they have approved the purchase and installation of new play equipment for Stroud Recreation Ground, with the aim of enhancing the community space for residents and visitors of all ages.

Emma Cox, Chair of Freshwater Parish Council, expressed her excitement,

“We are absolutely delighted to be able to share this wonderful news with the local community.

“The Council has agreed to invest in a variety of new and exciting play equipment for Stroud Field, ensuring that this popular outdoor space is even more enjoyable and accessible for everyone, from young children to families.”

What to expect
The new play equipment will include a wide range of activities designed to promote physical activity, balance, and coordination.

Some of the exciting new additions are: Log Roll; Drop Rope Traverse; Swing Board; Flat Top Side Vault; Traversing Forest; Inclined Balance Weaver; Burmah Bridge; Log Walk; Balance Beam; Stepping Stones; Birds Nest Swing and a Timber See Saw.

Carefully selected equipment
These pieces have been carefully selected to provide a fun and challenging experience, encouraging children to be active and creative as they explore their surroundings.

The Council is committed to ensuring that Stroud Recreation Ground continues to be a safe, engaging, and well-equipped space for all.
