According to BBC Newsbeat, the Friendly Fires have confirmed that they will be playing at two of our favourite festivals this year, Bestival on the Isle of Wight in September as well as headlining at The Big Chill in Herefordshire in August.
Looks like Besti is not just one of our favourite festivals either, as lead singer Ed Macfarlane said: “We’ve got Bestival confirmed which is our favourite festival so we’re really looking forward to that one.”
Hailing from sunny St Albans, Ed Macfarlane, Jack Savidge and Edd Gibson released their first album last year and have a very busy couple of months ahead of them on the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour.
We’ve yet to hear of any other bands confirmed for Bestival, but will let you know as soon as we hear.
