Congratulations to the firefighters from Ryde fire station for their ‘Wight Carry On’ challenge at the weekend that raised over £3,000.
To continue with the fundraising, a charity football match has been organised for the beginning of next month.
Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue will be facing the team from G.K.N. Aerospace.
The funds are being raised for equipment at St Mary’s Hospital to detect heart disease in the early stages.
The match takes place at Newport Football Club, St. Georges Park on 4th September.
Kick off is at 2pm.
