It’s been a long time coming but, with the exciting news of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the East Wight Landscape Partnership’s ‘Down to the Coast’ project, the Ventnor Heritage Trail will happen in 2016.
The Trail will consist of nine 
interpretation boards in various parts of the parish, a supporting Website and a trail leaflet with map. There will also be trail map boards at key locations in the town.
The leaflet will be sponsored and distributed by Red Funnel. Other sponsors will also be offering practical help: Ventnor Town Council, The National Trust and Ventnor Heritage Centre.
The Ventnor Heritage Trail will make living and visiting Ventnor a more enjoyable and fascinating experience and will attract visitors for the heritage offer.
