The best friend of Matej Gruber, who tragically died in a road traffic incident last month, has raised more than $7,000 to help support Matej’s family.
Newport resident, Matej (pictured right), was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Ningwood Hill on 23rd July 2022.
Fundraiser to support Matej’s family
As you might expect, when his best friend, Noah Weinstein (pictured left) heard the news, he and his wife were devastated. They immediately set up a fundraiser to support Matej’s life partner and daughter, Trudy and Jess.
Noah, who lives in Montana, USA, told News OnTheWight,
“I really want to do everything I can to help Trudy and Jess get through this with the least stress possible.
“I am so far away and it is the least I can do.”
