Residents in Ventnor and Bonchurch who want to find out more about the works to stabilise the seawall between Ventnor and Wheeler’s Bay are encouraged to attend a public meeting next week.
Officers from the Isle of Wight council, the Environment Agency and Ventnor Town Council will be hosting a meeting on Tuesday (21st February) at 6pm to discuss the issues affecting the sea defences.
They say,
“We will talk about the recent emergency works and next steps, with an opportunity for questions at the end.”
The last meeting, held in November (catch up here), was incredibly informative and a great opportunity for residents to find out more. Unfortunately it was not very well attended, so IWC officers are hoping that more people will come along to the next one.
Where and when
The meeting takes place at St Catherine’s Church, Church Street, PO38 1SW on Tuesday 21st February at 6pm.
