Friday next week sees the return of the national Go Orange Day, your chance to show support for our Independent Lifeboat Stations.
There are loads of events organised around the Island to raise money on Go Orange Day including the following in support of the Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat.
On Friday 10th at 12.30pm, there’ll be a whole lotta leg waxing going on at the Rapanui shop in Sandown. In return for sponsorship, the guys from the shop will be having their legs waxed. Ouch!
We understand that there’ll be two lifeboat guys attending as well as Andie Penn, who’ll be keeping everyone entertained with juggling, magic, balloon modelling etc. Why not pop in to see the grand wax-off.
Lots of other events in Sandown
The Tap in Sandown will have Go Orange collections on 10th and 11th February when you can see Freeway Junction and Exile play live. Make sure you wear something orange.
