Blimey it’s Thursday already, so that means another cracking night of live music from Island bands down at The Venue in Ryde as part of the Progression Sessions.
On tonight’s menu are Godfrenzy, who I still haven’t been able to find a MySpace for since they played at Liquid Lounge with Dr Jones back in July.
So no pretty pictures of them, but I hear on the grapevine that they are great to watch live, so if you go along send us some pics for next time.
Also playing tonight is Helen Keller, that’s the band rather than the ghost of the deaf and blind lady who became a role model for millions of people. In the band are non other than Gareth Icke and Tim Pritchard from Kody, Lauren Bennett on bass guitar and Nate Webber (Jacuna) on drums.
As you probably know by now, the bands get recorded and interviewed for IW Radio’s Local and Live show, broadcast on Sunday night between 7-10pm on 102 or 107fm.
