Designed by Michael Manser – who is responsible for some stunning pieces of modernist architecture on the Isle of Wight – the property looks like a simple beach cabin from the outside.
The Tardis effect
However, once you step inside, you’re introduced to the Tardis effect. You discover that it’s much bigger and certainly more glamorous than a simple beach hut.
The three-bedroomed property nestles amongst the other cabins in Gurnard and almost has the feel of being inside a large boat with wooden surfaces wherever you look.
We think it looks fabulous and is very cleverly designed. It’s a shame we don’t have half a million stuffed down the back of the sofa.
