More congratulations on offer this afternoon, this time to a singer and songwriter from the Isle of Wight.
48 year old Graham McCullough was spotted at one of Quay Arts’ Acoustic Originals open mic nights and quickly signed up by IW record label, Solent Records who was mightily impressed with what he heard.
Today sees the launch of Graham’s first digital EP, available via iTunes.
The initial EP tracks are I Love You So, Every Last Grain Of Sand and Whatever Did I Do To Earn Your Love and the whole thing has been produced by John Waterman of Solent Records who describes the tracks as ‘timeless, sincere messages and emotions’.
Bob Brace provides the subtle additions on piano and violin and having listened to the tracks on Graham’s MySpace over the last hour, we’ve found the music and lyrics particularly soothing.
If you want to check him live, Graham will be doing a solo gig at The Volunteer Pub in Victoria Street, Ventnor from 2.30pm on Sunday 22 February.
Prior to making music for a living, Graham, who we’re informed is a really nice bloke, had a long and distinguished career in the field of broadcast TV Graphics.
In 2007 he decided to take early retirement and set about pursuing his dream of making a living from his love of music and songwriting.
