Red Funnel and its Red Jet customers have had a difficult few weeks as Red Jet was out of service for her annual maintenance work.
Red Jet 4 had stepped in to take up the slack, but was hit very quickly with its own problems. However, there is good news at last for the operator and their customers.
Leanna Lakes, Operations Director at Red Funnel, explains,
“Following repairs undertaken by our specialist marine contractors and engineers Red Jet 4 is now available for service.
“Red Jet 7 has also successfully completed her annual docking and associated maintenance work.
“We have reinstated our full timetable, Red Jet 6 and Red Jet 7 will be delivering this from Thursday morning.
“Red Jet 4 will be back in service later in the week.
“We would like to thank customers for their patience whilst our team has been working hard resume normal service.”
