The Requestival team, always ones to try and raise awareness for their great cause are anticipating a lot of media attention at their forthcoming Silent Disco event.
Not necessarily because of the unusual format of the gig, that is, people listening to the music whilst wearing headphones, but because they are planning to break the Guinness British Record for the number of people they can assemble on a Twister Mat.
We hear that the attempt will be closely monitored by an official from the Guinness Book of Records and that the current record is set at 634 people
However, this will be no ordinary attempt, because the Requestival team are aiming to do things a bit differently and urging those taking part to dig deep into their fancy dress boxes to pull out anything that could pass as a Cartoon Character.
