If you’re a fan of big bands, then this concert being put on by the Band of the Hampshire Constabulary to raise cash for the Wessex Cancer Trust on the Wight might be just the ticket for you.
It takes place at the end of April at the Cowes Yacht Haven venue and they are inviting the public to go along and enjoy a variety of music from all time classical greats, to big bands, to traditional marches and hits from West End shows.
Tickets are priced at £7.50 for adults or £4 for OAPs and under 16s.
Get your tickets from any of the following police stations; Cowes, Ryde, Newport, Shanklin (cheque only) or Wessex Cancer Trust shop in Freshwater (756482).
Alternatively you can chance your luck and buy tickets on the door. There will also be a bar open for refreshments.
