Isle of Wight Police responded to concerns for the welfare of a man at Culver Down this morning.
Called at 10.23am, Police say following a search of the area, the man in his 50s was found safe and well at Culver and later taken to hospital.
Well done to all involved for preventing what sounded like could be a very unhappy ending.
