Police are appealing for information to confirm the identity of a bicycle owner after a possible theft on the Isle of Wight.
Officers went to Ryde Pier late on Tuesday night (August 23, 2011) after a call about a man whose behaviour raised concerns.
Man arrrested
He was arrested on suspicion of theft, questioned at Newport Police Station, and bailed until September 20, 2011 pending further enquiries.
A Claud Butler bicycle was recovered by police at the scene.
Officers are appealing for information from anyone who has had a Claud Butler bicycle stolen recently, and who can prove they are the rightful owner of the model recovered at Ryde Pier last Tuesday (August 23, 2011).
