Head to Ventnor Heritage Centre for Christmas Cards, 2022 calendars and more

Make your way to Ventnor Heritage Centre on one of the next three Fridays to buy your 2022 calendar, Ventnor-themed Christmas cards or an early bird membership for next year.

They even have a stock of the limited edition and signed book, Furthest South: From the Scottish Borders to the Isle of Wight by Robin McInnes (available in-store only for £28).

Ventnor Heritage Centre (VHC) is open on Fridays from 10am to 4pm until 17th December (only three weeks left to buy in store).

They also hope to open on Ventnor Christmas Community Day (11th Dec, 10am-4pm).

The Calendar
The A4 2022 wall calendar shows images of Ventnor and the Undercliff from the VHC collection. The spiral-bound calendar has a good quality gloss cover and silk-finish pages.  Each double page covers one month with an individual black and white historic photograph, including the following images:

  • The Star Hotel, Wroxall
  • Steephill Cove
  • India & China Tea and Colonial Stores, Godshill
  • Bonchurch Shore
  • The Shute, St Lawrence
  • Luccombe Chine
  • Niton Isle of Wight, High Street
  • The White Horse, Whitwell
  • Steephill Castle
  • Chad’s Rock, Old Blackgang Road
  • Esplanade Ventnor, Snowstorm

The Christmas Cards

The message inside reads ‘Seasons Greetings’.  The cards measure 5 x 7 inches, and each comes with an envelope and is in a compostable cellophane sleeve.

VHC Christmas cards are priced at £1.95 each or five for £9. Available in store and online (£2.20 each/5 for £10 online inc p&p).
