Dust off your dancing shoes for this club night extravaganza, marking the end of Southampton Solent University’s Transmission exhibition and the opening of Isle of Wight College’s Rope Store exhibition.
Expect a dynamic mix of visuals and sound, brought to you by the inimitable masters of party, Headfunk.
Vinyl soundsystem set
The evening begins upstairs in the galleries with a vinyl soundsystem set from Tom Headfunk of true eclectic wonders. Grab a drink and enjoy anything from Latin Jazz to Dub Reggae, Afrobeat to Balearic House.
Then, from 9pm, we shift to the Theatre for a full AV/DJ set from Headfunk.
Featuring visual contributions from a number of Transmission artists set to a soundtrack of proper dancing music Headfunk-style! With one eye on the future and one foot in the past Headfunk will bring all their party experience to give Transmission a proper send off.
Join the after-party for free
There is also an official after-party for the which takes place at The Loft. Rhythmtree Festival presents Fellowship of Groove. There is free entry into the Loft for some live afrobeat grooving and world beats from Ngoma Sound and Nipsy until 2am.
