The Met Office have this morning issued a severe weather warning for the region.
The warning is valid between noon and 9pm tonight and indicates “Heavy, slow-moving showers are expected to develop across parts of central and southern England as well as southern parts of Wales.
“These showers are expected to give rainfall accumulations of 10-20mm within an hour and isolated accumulations exceeding 30mm through the day.”
It hasn’t been extended the Friday or the weekend, but we’ll let you know if that changes.
