No sooner had the walkway between Shanklin and Sandown reopened after the festive cliff falls, and once again the Isle of Wight council are urging caution.
The weekend of heavy rain has led to further cliff falls along the revetment.
A spokesperson from the council said,
“Users are advised to walk the beach (when safe due to tide) and avoid walking, running or cycling on the revetment at this time.
“Cliff falls can take place at any time and may cause rocks, mud and debris to fall on or across the revetment.
“Please proceed with caution when in the area.”
