Goodness, looking out of the window at the VB office all we can see is blue sky and sunshine, but according to the Met Office, bad weather is on its way.
They say that we can expect somewhere between 40-50mm of rain over night, with thunderstorms expected across the South region.
The main rain band will reach us around 10pm, clearing by around 9am on Thursday morning.
More rain on the way
Further rain or showers are expected during Friday and Saturday but these are not expected to be significant.
Fingers crossed the Island misses out on the heavy rain for a few days at least.
If you’re planning on going to the Isle of Wight Festival, bring some waterproofs just in case.
