Following a sudden and unexpected illness on 2nd January, Hiliary Jarman of Freshwater passed away peacefully at Southampton General Hospital on Friday 15th January 2016.
A native of Limavady Northern Ireland, Hiliary graduated from Reading University with a degree in German. She spent 15 years with GRE and the past 21 years supporting and fundraising for many cancer and neurological charities in Reading, Rottingdean, Greenwich (Connecticut USA), Saltdean and for the past eleven years here on the Isle of Wight.
A charity champion
Hiliary will be especially remembered for her support of the Wessex Cancer Trust where her energy, vitality and loving friendship helped many to manage the challenges and treatment for cancer.
Celebrating Hiliary’s life
A celebration of her extraordinary life will be held at the Methodist Hall, Freshwater on 13th February 2016 at 1pm.
All those touched by her grace are welcome to attend and join the family and those from each of her supported charities.
A closing collection will be available for donations in support of the Wessex Cancer Trust, Isle of Wight Huntington’s Disease Society and the Southampton Hospital Intensive Care Unit Family and Visitors Facility.
