If you’re living in housing association accommodation you might be interested to know that last December a new housing regulator, the Tenant Services Authority (TSA), was created to monitor the work of housing associations across the UK.
The TSA are inviting housing association tenants to take part in what they call, ‘the National Conversation’.
Meetings being held around the UK will give you the chance to have your say about what you think of your landlords, their services, and what you think is most important for the future.
Medina, South Wight and Vectis Housing Associations are all taking part by holding ‘Local Conversations’ on the Wight.
These meetings will take place at the Riverside Centre in Newport on Saturday February 7th at 10.30am and Monday February 9th at 2pm.
All housing association tenants are welcome to attend these free events. To book a place or for more information please call (01983) 824303.
Interestingly, we understand that from 2010 the TSA is also expected to monitor local authorities and ALMOs as well.
