Following the success of his visit earlier in the year, Ian Siegal will be returning to Ryde Theatre in 2008.
He’ll be bringing his band to ‘The Bluesroom’ at Ryde Theatre on 1st February with support from local blues outfit Amen Boogie Blues Band.
Ian Siegal has one of the finest blues voices this side of the Atlantic, and sold out the theatre at the opening blues room event last February.
He’s dubbed by Mojo magazine as “the cleverest writer and most magnetic performer of blues currently working in the UK.”
Ian has just brought out his latest album, “Swagger” to critical acclaim. All those who saw him last year were impressed by his enigmatic delivery of the blues. Without doubt the most talented musician to emerge from Britain on to the European blues scene in years, he doesn’t just perform the blues, he is possessed by them. He doesn’t just play the guitar, he talks to it…and it talks back.
If you know someone who loves blues, why not buy them a ticket for Christmas?
As the previous gig sold out, you’d be well advised to buy your tickets pronto.
