Tomorrow (Wednesday) sees events take place across the globe for International Day Of Peace.
The Isle of Wight has two events you can attend to take part in celebration.
PeaceFeast
During the day all are welcome at the Unitarian Church in Newport for a PeaceFeast.
It takes place on between 11.30am – 1.30pm and there’ll be food, music, poetry and activities.
Peace Vigil
If you can’t make it during the day but would like to take part in group celebrations, there’s a vigil taking place in St Thomas’ Square by the War Memorial from 8pm.
Organisers ask you to take along a candle to light for the vigil and remember to wrap up warm.
