Police are appealing for more information as an investigation continues into three alleged assaults in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.
The attacks are reported to have taken place on the High Street near Yarborough Arcade on Friday, October 21, 2011 between 11.35pm and 11.50pm.
The victims, a 43-year-old man from Shanklin, and two 16-year-old boys from Sandown, received facial injuries, which were not life threatening.
Description of suspect
A suspect was described as:
- A white man
- Aged in his 20s
- 5 ft 6 ins to 5 ft 8 ins tall
- Wearing a blue hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.
Investigating officer PC Ken Easte said: “We believe these were totally unprovoked assaults carried out by a man against three innocent members of the public going about their daily lives. Enquiries in the community so far have established that there were other witnesses in the area and we would particularly like to speak with another man who walked past the young men as the assaults were taking place.”
