Anyone interested in film might be grateful for a reminder that tonight sees the screening of the second heat of the IOW Short Film Festival.
Taking place in the Anthony Minghella Theatre at Quay Arts, this is the second of the quarterly heats ending with a final festival in July 2009 where a Jury Award and an Audience Award will be presented for the best films.
It won’t cost you a penny to get in and sounds like it should be an interesting night.
The Isle of Wight Film Network is an organisation for film professionals on the Island, and for bringing mainland filmmakers to work and shoot here.
It is free to join and is open to all film makers and trades related to the film industry. Contact them via their website.
The festival is sponsored by Screen South
