News OnTheWight understands that due to a staff shortage (in signalling) the train service will finish early today (Wednesday), with a rail replacement bus service operating in its place.
The last train from Shanklin to Ryde Esplanade today will be at 18.18, the last train from Ryde Esplanade to Shanklin will be at 17.45.
A rail replacement bus service will operate the remainder of the service.
The first trains on Thursday morning will be at 08.18 from Shanklin and 07.44 from Ryde Esplanade.
