Readers might remember back in October we reported about a new arts festival destined for Ventnor next year.
Organisers of the festival (which has been re-named Isle of Arts 2010) have been in touch to let us know that they’ve extended their poster competition to give Island artists and designers a further chance to get involved.
The Isle of Arts festival which takes place in Ventnor next spring, aims to bring together artistic talent from across the Island and will include art trails, music, comedy, spoken word and theatre to name just a few.

Been there done that
If you have already submitted a design under the previous festival name (Ventnor 2010), organisers tell us that you won’t need to re-submit your poster as they’ll be judging entries on concept and artistic merit.
Up for grabs is a cash prize of £200 plus royalties from the limited edition poster that will be sold during the festival.
Don’t delay, get creative and you could be quids in.
