Last Sunday, when it was blowing a right old hoolie out there, in Shanklin nine noble women put aside their inhibitions and braved the freezing cold waters.
All for the sake of charity.
Mandy Morritt, Michelle Steel, Lauren Morritt, Abbi Nordruch-Stroud, Colette Martin, Carol Downer, Nic Downer, Penny Milmore and Tamasin Linguard-Laned are all from the IW contingent of the Breast Cancer Campaign and managed to raise £400 for the cause by having a dip in the sea.
If you belong to a group or even if you don’t, but have the ability to organise something, why not get together with colleagues or friends and do some something whacky (or normal) to raise some much needed cash for this very worthy cause.
It might be a pink party, pink pub quiz or a pink coffee morning.
