Thanks to Anthea for details of this new Isle of Wight Antiques Trail. In her own words. Ed
The Isle of Wight Antiques Trail is new a fold-out-map style leaflet, specifically created to reveal ‘antiquing’ as a great Island activity, with year round appeal.
Picking-up on the current fashion for all things antique & vintage, and the momentum created by TV Shows recently visiting the Island, Anthea Payne of ‘Anthea’s Emporium’ has spent the recent winter months creating this first Isle of Wight Antiques Trail.
Calendar of fairs and auctions
The Isle of Wight Antiques Trail includes a full calendar of local Antiques & Collectors Fairs, Book Fairs and Auctions; a cross section of antique retailers and also pinpoints some places of interest.
There are even details of the local Fine Arts and Antique courier, so purchasers can get their goods home.
This useful guide includes all the information required for planning a trip to the Isle of Wight with Antiques in mind. Visitors can plan their routes to take in an Antiques Fair (or two), get some antiques retail therapy and see some great sights too.
Aiming to help visitors to the Island
Anthea Payne, creator of The Isle of Wight Antiques Trail says, “I realised there was a need for a guide to the antiques network on the Island, and wanted to create a map-style leaflet to make it simpler for visitors to plan their visits and find their way to our doors.”
