Local author Kevin Wilson, owner of Heaton Wilson Books, is hosting an author talk and book signing to celebrate the release of his new seaside novel, The Waves of Change.
The event will take place at the Waterstones branch in Newport on Saturday, 19th August from 11am to 2pm.
New ‘Whistle Bay series
The Waves of Change is the first book in Kevin’s new series about the fictional seaside town of ‘Whistle Bay’. The novel follows the story of Sam Taverner, a young man desperate to fulfil the promise he made to his dying father, but his encounters with Lindsay, a larger-than-life artist from London, dramatically changes his course.
Discover a story that will tug at your heart-strings. Find out if Lindsay, and art, will change him forever, or will his past life keep dragging him back?

Customers who attend the book signing will be able to buy The Waves of Change on the day and receive a signed copy. The first six customers will also receive a seaside-inspired book lovers’ goody bag.
The book signing is free and open to the public.
