Isle of Wight film maker Bruce Webb will be hitting the red carpet tonight as his latest masterpiece premieres in London.
Screening at the Raindance Festival in Piccadilly, Social Suicide is described as ‘The Usual Suspects’ meets ‘Romeo and Juliet’.
The film is not only an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play for 2015, but features Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, the stars of Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 version of the play.
Passionate about film
Bruce is better known on the Isle of Wight for spearheading the Isle of Wight Film Festival, which in 2015 year marked its eighth year.
He was also the powerhouse behind the Save the Rivoli Cinema campaign.
