Thanks to the Isle of Wight Hockey Club for sharing their latest news. Ed
The Isle of Wight Hockey Club has launched its new-look Website as the club continues its build up to the new hockey season.
The site has been given a revamp as part of the club’s ongoing sponsorship with Island company Deep Design. New features include a dedicated members area and a club shop, where members or supporters can buy official club kit, accessories and clothing.
Anyone logging on can also find a full list of fixtures for all four senior teams, details of membership, training times, photos and committee information.
New look club
The revamped site is part of a major new look for the club this season, with a new logo launched and new playing shirts due to arrive soon.
Despite the recent poor weather, training is already underway with the club inviting anyone interested in playing to its weekly sessions.
Training days
Ladies training is from 6pm until 8pm and men’s training is from 7pm to 8.30pm on Wednesdays at Smallbrook Stadium, in Ryde. Anyone is welcome to turn up and join in, with under 18s required to wear shinpads and a gum shield.
The club’s first match of the new season is a friendly between a mixed Isle of Wight Men’s 1st and 2nd XI side and Romsey on 5 September.
