Fans of Isle of Wight band, The Dead Perrys (no relation) might recognise Liam Hodge in this catchy new World Cup/Christmas video (watch below).
Liam is an Island-based singer songwriter who also plays with Weeks. With the help of a couple of other Island musicians and some locals from the Falcon Inn, Ryde, has written and recorded ‘World Cup for Christmas’.
Hodge: A bit of fun
Liam says he hopes for it to be on all streaming sites soon. He told News OnTheWight,
“It was all thrown together in a week on a budget of one pint of Guinness for a bit of fun.”
Watch the video a couple of times and you’ll probably soon find yourself humming the tune without realising it.
