Isle of Wight residents to protest for better disability employment support

This coming Saturday (29th June) from midday to 2pm, John’s Club are organising a protest gathering in Newport.

The protest aims to raise awareness about the lack of training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities living on the Isle of Wight.

John Phillips MBE, Chairman and founder of John’s Club, told OnTheWight,

“Come bring a banner, make some noise and make sure the people of Newport can ‘see us now’ and understand what we are up against.”
