Isle of Wight Society to host talk on National Trust countryside conservation

The Isle of Wight Society will host its next monthly talk on Monday 14th April at the Riverside Centre in Newport.

There is a change in the advertised speaker, but the subject remains the same.

The talk will explore the National Trust Strategy to conserve the countryside for the future, with a particular focus on species and land recovery.

Insights from a local expert
Paul Davies, Countryside Manager for the National Trust on the Isle of Wight, will give the presentation.

He has worked on the Island for the National Trust for over thirty years and knows the local situation intimately.

Questions encouraged
After his illustrated talk, Paul will welcome questions from the audience and will be happy to discuss the strategy and its relevance to the Island.

All welcome
Doors open at 7pm and the talk begins at 7.30pm. Admission is free and parking is also free for attendees—just remember to register your vehicle on arrival.
