Tide Nor Time Players CIC, in collaboration with Carisbrooke Castle Museum and with funding support from the Isle of Wight Council’s Early Help Grant, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Young People’s Performing Arts Group.
This exciting initiative, designed for young people aged 13 to 19, aims to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive performing arts community led by the young people themselves.
Young people can take charge
The new group will provide an empowering platform where young people can take charge: from selecting performances to overseeing staging, direction, and budgeting.
With professional mentoring and full supervision, participants will gain valuable experience and skills in all aspects of performing arts production.
Foster diversity, inclusion, and the encouragement of artistic expression
Our mission is to foster diversity, inclusion, and the encouragement of artistic expression.
The group will be a safe space for young individuals of all experience levels to explore their creativity and build confidence through the performing arts.
Open night
To introduce this initiative, we are hosting an open night where potential members and their parents are invited to join us.
This event will feature a detailed presentation about the group, followed by a Q&A session.
Join us in this exciting new chapter and be part of a dynamic community where young people lead, create, and inspire through the performing arts.
Where and when
The open night takes places on Friday 16th August 2024, from 6.30pm at the Carisbrooke Castle site, PO30 1XY.
Book your place via the website.
