Balaambs Passage footpath will be closed from 8.30pm on Friday 8 January until 8.30pm on Friday 29 July 2016 between Bonchurch Village Road and The Pitts. The route for pedestrians will be: Bonchurch Village Road, Bonchurch Shute and The Pitts. The road closure is required until retaining wall repair works have been undertaken.

Rowborough Lane will be closed on approximately 2 nights between Monday 11 April and Friday 6 May 2016 Coach Lane to Carpenters Road. COWES / NORTHWOOD
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation in A3020 Newport Road between the junction with Nodes Road and 300 metres Newport side of Northwood traffic lights from Tuesday 29 March until approx. early May 2016 for the installation of a new 450mm size water main by Clancy Docwra for Southern Water. Some additional traffic delays will occur. The works form part of a new water main project between Three Gates Road, along Newport Road to approx. 300 metres Newport side of Northwood traffic lights.
Park Road will be closed from 6.30pm until 6am for approximately 5 to 10 days and nights between Friday 1 April and Friday 13 May 2016. EAST COWES:
Esplanade will be closed from 2.30pm on Friday 22 April 2014 for the foreseeable future between 375 metres to the northeast of Cambridge Road and the end of the highway 860 metres to the northeast of Cambridge Road. There is no alternative route for traffic. This closure is necessary to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road due to a landslip.
Beatrice Avenue will be closed from 6.30am until 6pm on approximately 5 to 10 days between Friday 22 April and Friday 3 June 2016. LAKE:
Ranalagh Road / Cliff Road / Cliff Path. From 1200hrs on Friday 18 July 2014 for the foreseeable future the following roads / path will be closed to vehicular traffic: Cliff Road / Cliff Path will be closed from point 55 metres to the northwest of the junction with Ranalagh Road to point 185 metres to the south west of the junction with Cliff Gardens (the southern boundary of number 6). Ranalagh Road will also be closed from Cliff Road to a point 10 metres to the west of Cliff Road. During the period of closure there is no alternative route for vehicles. The closure is required due to erosion. Pedestrian access will be maintained as usual.
A3055 Sandown Road (from Winchester House to Cemetery Road). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 9.30am until 4pm on each day (Mondays to Fridays) between Monday 9 May and Friday 13 May 2016 for footway works by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
Louis Road will be closed on one day from 9am until 4pm between Monday 25 April and Wednesday 27 April 2016 The closure is between New Road and Newport Road for carriageway repairs by Island Roads.
NEWCHURCH:
Newport Shute will be closed on one day from 9am until 4pm between Friday 22 April and Tuesday 26 April 2016. The closure is between Mersley Downs Road and Mersley Lane for carriageway repairs by Island Roads.
NEWPORT:
Staplers Road – One Way Restriction. From 9am on Tuesday 12 April until 5pm on Thursday 28 April 2016 a temporary One Way Restriction will be in operation in Staplers Road. The restriction will be introduced in a Southwest direction and traffic will only be allowed to travel towards Newport from Coppins Close to A3054 Fairlee Road. The route for all traffic travelling in a Northeast bound direction out of Newport will be: A3054 Fairlee Road, Racecourse, Lushington Hill, High Street (Wootton), Station Road, Whiterails Road and Staplers Road. Traffic travelling from Newport to Lake and The Downs Road will be diverted via Blackwater and Arreton. The one way restriction is for the rebuilding of a British Telecom chamber at the junction with Fairlee Road.
Shide Road will be closed on approximately 2 days between Monday 11 April and Friday 6 May 2016 from Queens Road to St Johns Road. A3020 Medina Way (slip road towards Holyrood Street and exit from St Mary’s Roundabout to Hunny Hill) A temporary lane closure will be in operation from 7.30pm until 11pm on each night Mondays to Fridays) on each evening between Friday 22 April and Wednesday 27 April 2016 foR highway works by Island Roads. Cliff Path will be closed from 9.30am on Monday 20 January 2014 for the foreseeable future to pedestrians from Skew Bridge Path to Winchester House Car Park. The closure is required due to erosion/ land movement. During the period of closure the alternative route for pedestrians will be; Skew Bridge Path, A3055 Sandown Road and Winchester House Car Park.

ST HELENS:
Vine Road will be closed on one day from 9am until 4pm between Friday 22 April and Tuesday 26 April 2016 The closure is between Upper Green Road and Lower Green Road for carriageway repairs by Island Roads.
B3330 Eddington Road (outside St Helens Church). Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from Tuesday 29 March for approximately 3 to 4 weeks for wall repair works to St Helens Church by Terry Winterbottom. Traffic delays will occur.
ST LAWRENCE:
A3055 Undercliff Drive will remain closed from St Catherine’s Road to Seven Sisters Road (Western Junction), between Barrington Lodge, near to the western junction with Seven Sisters Road and Mirables which is located about a mile towards Niton. Following significant ground movement in the area in early February 2014, Undercliff Drive has been physically closed between Mirables (in the west) and a point 560 metres to the West of Seven Sisters Road (in the east) for safety reasons. There is now no access for vehicles or pedestrians. A formal road and footpath closure will be in operation for the foreseeable future. Access to businesses and attractions in Undercliff Drive will be maintained. During the period of closure the alternative route for traffic will be; Pedestrians; A3055 Undercliff Drive, Public Footpath V81, V77, NT28, NT29, NT30 and A3055 Undercliff Drive. Cyclists and Equestrians; A3055 Undercliff Drive, Seven Sisters Road, St Lawrence Shute, Whitwell Road, Ventnor Road, High Street (Whitwell), Kemming Road, Chatfield Road, Rectory Road, High Street (Niton), Institute Hill, Barrack Shute and A3055 Undercliff Drive.
Longdown Steps Public Footpath V102 will be closed from 10am on Monday 12 May 2014 for the foreseeable future between South Street and St Catherine’s Street. This closure is necessary to avoid danger to persons using the footpath until wall repair works have been undertaken. The diversion route for pedestrians will be; South Street, West Street, High Street, Victoria Street, Wheelers Bay Road and St Catherine’s Street.
VENTNOR:
Castle Road (between Zig Zag Road and Gills Cliff Road) Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from Tuesday 30 December 2014 until approx. August 2016 until retaining wall works have been completed by Island Roads. Traffic delays will occur.
WHIPPINGHAM:
Public Footpath N214 will be closed from Crematorium Road to Public Footpath N114 between 9am on Wednesday 5 August 2015 for the foreseeable future to pedestrians. The closure is required until urgent repair works have been undertaken to B171 Whippingham Cattle Creep. The alternative route for pedestrians is; Crematoriums Road, A3054 Lushington Hill, Racecourse and Fairlee Road.
