Next Thursday sees a benefit gig take place at Quay Arts Centre.
Isle of Wight Friends of Palestine have invited Jewish comedian, Ivor Dembina over to present his show This Is Not A Subject For Comedy.
The performance is a story with jokes about his journey from being a supporter of Israel to becoming an outspoken critic of Zionism.
It’s set against a backdrop of the hostility he encountered from his own community.

Following the performance, there’ll be a Q&A session with Peter Venner, back safely from the recent Flotilla to Gaza.
The evening should be enlightening and entertaining.
