Sainsbury’s Newport are proud to announce our new charity partner for the following year is the IW Society for the Blind.
To celebrate the announcement, the launch took place in store on 17th July.
As you can see from the photos there was cake, one of which was made by our Colleague, Pat Crates, and the other by a volunteer of the Society For The Blind.
We invited Trustees, Volunteers and Representatives along for a luncheon, an opportunity for them to meet with our colleagues, as we congratulated them for being our chosen charity.
The store team will also be fundraising for the new charity by holding Dress-Up Days, Bag Packing and offering support for IW Society for the Blind.
