Jack Up The 80s, the Isle of Wight’s family festival, is to sponsor the Warriors in 2017. The fun time family festival will change location for 2017 and it will be held at the Warriors Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium in August.
Organisers said of this news,
“Jack Up The 80s are really pleased to be bringing our fabulous family festival and 80s party weekend to Smallbrook Stadium on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August 2017. It’s a thrill to support both the venue and the Wight Warriors speedway team.”
Warriors Commercial Director Barry Bishop commented,
“To have Jack Up The 80s coming to Smallbrook Stadium is amazing but to have the festival in line with the Warrior Way and our fun filled family nights out is stratospheric. The move to Smallbrook is just reward for all the effort and results that everyone involved in the Stadium has achieved in the last 18 months since Martin Widman and I came on to the Board.
“Our ethos is now across the Island and we are thrilled that more and more people, and more and more businesses, want to be part of that as we continue to create something very special for the Isle of Wight within the home of the Warriors Smallbrook Stadium. We already know the importance of the festivals to the Island’s economy and by welcoming Jack Up The 80s, it just reinforces our commitment to the community, to business and to sport in a fun filled way.
“It’s great to welcome Jack Up The 80s as new air fence sponsors of the club and it gives me great pleasure to welcome aboard the Warrior Way.”
