If you love a good old fashioned dinner dance, mixed in with a romantic theme, then it’s nearly time to dust down your tuxedo or raid the back of the wardrobe for your favourite cocktail dress.
Council chairman Arthur Taylor and his wife Doreen will be hosting a rather grand Charity Valentine Ball at Cowes Yacht Haven next month and the invitation to join them is open to entire Island.
Cllr Arthur Taylor said: “I hope people will join us on what promises to be a splendid evening. I have been supporting the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and Haylands Farm for some time now and both are very worthwhile charities making a real difference on the Isle of Wight.”
Tickets are priced at £35 per person (which include a complimentary drink upon arrival).
