Boost your general fitness level
The swim sessions, led by qualified coaches, are aimed at helping swimmers to improve their overall technique and boost their general fitness levels. Suitable for all abilities, coaches will take a personalised approach to offer guidance for varied skill levels, helping everyone to reach their individual fitness goals.

“Swimming has helped so much, not having to worry about the cost and having an instructor helps keep you motivated.”
Emily, 21

Aimed at those with a BMI over 30
The exercise support programme from gloji offers residents with a BMI over 30 (over 27.5 for certain ethnic minorities) the opportunity to get out in the community, connecting with like-minded people and making new friends (check your BMI using gloji’s BMI calculator).

Participants will not only benefit from personal fitness gains, they’ll also motivate one another to stick with it, being a part of something greater, and helping the Isle of Wight to get healthier, together.

“I’ve loved my time with gloji. I really enjoyed meeting up every week for a swim.”
Emily, 21

Joining gloji will help residents improve their physical health and mental wellbeing with coach support as well as online support from a flexible, digital programme.

12 weeks of interactive videos guide residents every step of the way as they discover how to look at their health as a whole and make small, sustainable changes that add up to long term success.
