If you’re an active type, here’s a fun way that you can help raise money for the Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat.
On 19th November TJs Gym at the Spithead Business Park (opposite Morrisons in Lake) will be hosting a two hour cyclethon.
Organisers are looking for teams or sole riders to take part.
So far, ten teams have been confirmed, one doing the cyclethon in full lifeboat gear, another dressed in “under the sea theme” fancy dress.
The race takes place on 19th November between 2pm – 4pm.
There’ll be certificates for all who enter, so if you’re interested, contact Linda on 563296.
