The Wight Rock Bar in Ryde has a treat in store for any psychotronic indie fans this weekend.
Hailing from London, Junkstar will be crossing the water with the sole intention of entertaining our sweet little hearts.
They’ve played alongside the likes of Athlete, The Others, We Are Scientists, Fight like Apes, The Icarus Line, and 80’s pop icon Wendy James.
We’ve not seen them play live before but you can check out their MySpace for a flavour of what to expect.
Apparently they “mix the sonic sensibilities of their superheroes & synthesize them into a big brash sexy city swagger, all of their own.”
DJ Chris Awesome is on the TTs for the night and promises a fantastic ElectroPop mix to set the scene.
Doors open at 8pm entrance just £3.
