Detectives are investigating reports of three suspicious incidents and have released two e-fit images of a man believed to be involved.
The first incident occurred at about 5.00pm on Saturday, March 22, where a man was reported to have acted inappropriately towards two 12-year-old girls at Puckpool Park, Ryde on the Isle of Wight.
The second incident occurred at about 3.45pm on Tuesday, March 25 when a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man as she walked home along the footpath that runs behind Christ the King College.
Latest incident
The most recent incident happened on Sunday, April 13 at about 3.00pm, where a man approached an 11-year-old girl in Cowes
The man was described as:
White
Aged 40 – 60
Had grey hair
May have been wearing dark sunglasses
Detective Sergeant Gary Lyons of Newport DCID said:
“I would ask anyone who recognises the e-fit or anyone who knows the man to contact me as soon as possible.
“I would also encourage people to be vigilant and report anything suspicious to us straight away. I would also like to remind people not to speculate about the exact circumstances of these incidents, especially on social media.”
