Ryde Library and Help Centre were closed this morning as they were without telephone or Internet connections.
Until engineers were able to resolve the problem the Library and Help Centre were unable to open as planned.
Now open
The issue has now been resolved and the library has opened.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight council said,
“An electrical supply problem to one of the houses close to the Library over the weekend caused a disconnection and resulted in a re-boot issue this morning.”
