Update 12.10: Car written off after hitting landslip
Harry Marsh got in touch explaining that the landslip had been reported at 6.30am. He says he crashed into it at 7am.
We understand he was unhurt, but as you can see from the photo he shared with OnTheWight his car suffered damage after he tried to avoid the boulder and the passenger side hit the rock. He says it’ll be written off.
Harry said, “Lucky it was me that hit it and not a family,” and explained that there was a “massive boulder of stone and mud at least 4ft wide on the brow of hill”.
